The Morozov painting collection and winetasting session in a Paris domain
For the first time out of Russia, the art collection gathered by the Morozov brothers is now displayed at the Fondation Vuitton
200 Masterpieces acquired from the avant garde painting scene at the start of twentieth century in Paris. The brothers had a real eye to spot works from future world acclaimed artists.
Some Russian painters are also part of the collection as well as the interior cabinet panels painted by Maurice Denis, for the first time out of Moscow.
After a 12 minutes walk, the tour will go on with a wine tasting in a domain located in the outskirts of Bois de Boulogne. The vineyards, located in the gardens, near the family house, a splendid 1920’s mansion built for a Maharajah.
Owners of a long tradition of wine production in Alsace, the family aim at reintroducing wines in Paris. After many years maturing, they are now able to produce and sell “vin de Paris” (Wine from Paris). Three samples of the Alsatian production will be available as well as the exceptional vin de Paris.
Meeting point: Outside line 1 Métro station Neuilly Les Sablons.
The tour will end at the metro Pont de Neuilly, after a short bus trip from the winetasting.
Fee: 65€ pp including ticket to the Fondation Vuitton plus visit of the domain and 3 samples of Alsatian wines as well as one of “Vin de Paris”.
