This tour will take you on a pleasant and informative stroll, and help you get to know the area around your hotel. You will discover all patrimonial landmarks as well as great history and little known facts about the neighborhood, and of course get some information about what the area has to offer when it comes to shopping and food. Even those who are familiar with the hotel and its surroundings could take advantage of the tour which will shed light on the little known aspects of this neighborhood, abundant with history.

The orientation walk will introduce you to the famous landmarks and histories of the area surrounding your hotel, but also to the stories about the people who have lived here and other little known facts.
After a brief introduction to the history of the building, we will continue towards rue Saint Honoré, one of the oldest streets in Paris, to learn about its particularities as well as its famous inhabitants.
We will continue down rue de Rivoli, another street with a rich history and interesting buildings, before entering theTuileries garden. This park, ideal for relaxing and strolling, has had an important place in French history ever since its creation in the 16th century. The view from the path in the middle of the park is great; you can see all the way from the Louvre to la Grande Arche de la Défense, which are more than 10 kilometers apart.
Afterwards, we will return to rue de Rivoli and Saint Honoré and their numerous luxury shops. We will then discover le couvent des Jacobins (the monastery of the Dominicans), which was a famous club during the French Revolution. It is today a lively marketplace surrounded by cozy and modern restaurants. We will also make a stop in front of the hôtel particulier (private mansion) in which Napoleon’s marriage took place. Nearby we find l’avenue de l’Opéra and the Palais Garnier as well as beautiful Haussmannian buildings from the 19th century, typical of Paris.
We will then enter a small street famous for its American bars (and even the oldest one in Paris), which is also the center of the American community of the city. Not far from here we find a hôtel particulier from the 19th century which houses a dance center, a splendid rehearsal room as well as a hidden restaurant.
The last part of the tour will take us to place Vendôme and the jewelry quarter. Around the square, which was created in the 17th century, there are several famous houses with a lot of history. And we will of course tell you the incredible story about the Vendôme Column, built by Napoleon I, standing in the middle of the square.
